Export Compliance Program Manager

Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the relationship between the International Trade Compliance (ITC) and Customs & Transportation Organization (C&TO) to ensure alignment of ITC procedures with export operations. Collaborate on annual priority setting based on enterprise risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with export operations enterprise standards through the development of processes, delegation of responsibilities, training initiatives, and ongoing monitoring.
- Track SCRA and C&TO Risk Model KPIs, directing actions to mitigate export risks. Provide consultation on corrective action plans to ensure positive impacts on KPIs. Work with C&TO vertical leaders and ITC for annual risk reduction strategies and translate these into actionable plans.
- Manage ITC compliance investigations involving C&TO, including resource allocation, leading problem-solving efforts, developing and implementing corrective actions, and overseeing new or revised policy requirements along with compliance monitoring strategies.
- Design and implement C&TO export governance frameworks. Assess effectiveness through KPIs and address any identified gaps with C&TO vertical leaders as necessary.
- Establish and maintain the ITC and C&TO relationship, including the development of a RASCI matrix to clarify roles and responsibilities for global export operations.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of customs experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant customs experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Customs Regulations, Compliance, and Legal Frameworks
- Proficient in Process Integration and Strategic Influence
- Experienced in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Management
- Skilled in Lean Methodologies, Change Management, Systems Proficiency, and Leadership
- Demonstrates humility: respectful, adaptable, and eager to learn
