Eram Talent, a distinguished Talent Acquisition Consultancy, is in search of an Environmental Sustainability Consultant within the Oil & Energy sector.

This organization boasts a worldwide presence and a robust network, catering to the demands of clients by connecting them with high-caliber professionals possessing advanced skills.

The selected candidate will be stationed in Saudi Arabia.

The Environmental Sustainability Consultant will be instrumental in executing sustainability programs and enhancing the ecological footprint of oil and energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate strategies aimed at enhancing sustainability and mitigating the ecological impact of oil and energy ventures.
  • Offer technical guidance for capital projects associated with petrochemical facilities at various execution phases (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering).
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to devise and implement sustainable practices.
  • Employ simulation and modeling techniques (energy and material balances, utilities, and catalysts).
  • Gather, analyze, and report on sustainability metrics to effectively gauge progress towards objectives.
  • Assess and review the success of sustainability programs and propose enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and regulations pertinent to sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the petrochemical sector, with at least 5 years in operations and 5 years in an ESG role or equivalent.
  • Experience in the oil and energy sector is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with global sustainability standards and regulations.
