As an Agricultural Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in promoting our innovative solutions to growers within your designated region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand AgHires' direct and channel sales within your assigned area.
  • Oversee all pre-sales activities for AgHires products and services to farmers in your territory.
  • Leverage available resources to identify prospects and convert them into loyal customers.
  • Provide valuable customer feedback to inform sales strategies and forecasting.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource regarding our product offerings (including maps, precision picking tools, and automated solutions).
  • Compile and analyze sales reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction from initial awareness to ongoing loyalty.
  • Work with the product development team to relay customer insights and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders on behalf of AgHires.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales success in the agricultural sector, with a track record of surpassing sales goals.
  • 5+ years of experience in the agriculture industry, possessing a solid understanding of local markets and a network of contacts among growers and dealers.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell technology-driven products.
  • Comfortable navigating an evolving and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong commitment to documentation and communication within AgHires systems (primarily using tools like Smartsheet, HubSpot, and Google Docs).
  • Self-motivated individual capable of maintaining high activity levels focused on expanding the customer base and revenue.
  • Alignment with AgHires core values: Integrity, Farmer Engagement, Teamwork, Humility, Ownership, and Communication.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 2-3 weeks per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established connections within the agricultural industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of farming practices.
  • Familiarity with discussing technology (AI, software, automation).
