Position Overview:
This role encompasses the comprehensive management, oversight, and administration of all operational and vendor relationships essential for the successful functioning of ProPartners Financial. By fostering and developing a high-performing leadership team, the President guarantees that PPF's programs deliver customized financial services to agribusinesses nationwide. The incumbent will identify emerging market opportunities and strategically leverage them as appropriate. Additionally, the incumbent will establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep the Governance Board, Associations, AgriBank, and Farm Credit Administration informed and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand and nurture a growing client base while fostering a positive community reputation.
  • Engage directly in business development strategies targeting leading agribusinesses in the market.
  • Formulate, propose, and execute policies, procedures, processes, and programs for originating, marketing, underwriting, pricing, closing, servicing, and monitoring the unit's programs.
  • Develop, direct, and implement strategic business plans that align with the expectations set forth by the Governance Board.
  • Oversee the formulation and maintenance of company credit policies, procedures, and risk standards to ensure the delivery of sound credit.
  • Lead the ongoing selection, guidance, motivation, engagement, mentorship, and evaluation of the senior leadership team.
  • Uphold financial integrity by operating within sound fiscal and budgetary constraints as approved by the Governance Board.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, agriculture, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in agricultural financial services (experience with crop inputs preferred).
  • Ten or more years of leadership and management experience.
  • Experience engaging with senior corporate levels of large national and international agribusiness enterprises involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and retailing of crop inputs.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing complex financial marketing strategies to support vendor and dealer networks.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets, corporate finance, and supply financing is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, collaborative, and consultative management skills, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills, coupled with superior presentation, facilitation, and analytical abilities.
  • Leadership qualities to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward, and guide team members.
