Facility Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Facility Manager to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of our parking facilities, ensuring that all operations are handled within contractual guidelines and fostering excellent client relations.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in initiatives to enhance client and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of property-level financial and operational goals.
- Assist in the management of daily activities, including customer interaction, supervising evening closing reports, processing bank deposits, scheduling staff, supervising frontline staff, preparing month-end reports, auditing daily cashier shift reports, monitoring time cards, hiring and training frontline staff, reviewing damage claims, disbursing petty cash, and preparing the annual budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the parking facility, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and a minimum of six months of parking experience. You should possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record. Additionally, you should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong customer orientation, and the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
