Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to spearhead our Cost Management division. This pivotal role involves collaborating with a diverse range of clients including developers, manufacturers, and healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of cost management professionals, ensuring accountability and excellence in service delivery.
  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders throughout all phases of project development.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market trends to effectively position Turner & Townsend as a thought leader.
  • Drive business development initiatives, fostering relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, safety, and well-being within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Quantity Surveying with a strong background in the construction sector.
  • Ability to navigate both delivery and management responsibilities effectively.
  • Educational background in quantity surveying, cost management, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as RICS is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
