Job Description

As a Contract Manager II within the Strategic Sourcing Group at TD Bank Group, you will play a critical role in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts with vendors and suppliers. This is a highly seasoned professional role that requires substantial knowledge and expertise in contract review and negotiation, as well as a deep understanding of vendor management and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with TD Bank Group's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to optimize vendor relationships and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective contract management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in contract review, negotiation, and drafting, ensuring that contracts are fair, reasonable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of contracts, ensuring timely execution, renewal, and termination as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the contract management process.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in a related field, such as business, law, or procurement.
  • 7+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
