About the Role:

The Research and Outreach Assistant will work closely with the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator to develop and implement research studies and outreach programs. Primary duties will involve:

  • Screening and managing program referrals
  • Discussing research studies with families and determining participant eligibility
  • Building the center's research database
  • Initiating and maintaining partnerships in the community
  • Organizing outreach events and supporting families involved in research

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research studies and outreach programs
  • Screen and manage program referrals
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners
  • Organize and execute outreach events
  • Support families involved in research

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Outgoing and comfortable speaking to individuals on the phone, in-person, and on video chat
  • Knowledge about the needs and challenges of families affected by autism
