Position Summary

The National Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding Alpine's market presence through designated national accounts. This position involves the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives tailored for each account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for relationship management, customer retention, and organic growth within existing and prospective key accounts.
  • Establish and nurture effective business relationships with high-profile accounts to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the engagement of company resources, including software support, equipment sales, and engineering services, to achieve account performance goals and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide a holistic business solution to Key Accounts, integrating Alpine's full range of products and services.
  • Foster a consultative selling culture among decision-makers at all levels, highlighting brand strengths, competitive gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify growth opportunities through detailed customer business assessments, leading the initiative to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with customer needs and performance objectives.
  • Negotiate and secure new strategic accounts, facilitating a smooth transition to the appropriate sales team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in strategic sales, particularly with national and regional builders, architects, engineers, or lumber yards.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and enhancing sales through market penetration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Alpine's products and services; experience in the building industry is preferred.
  • Experience in selling complex technical products is advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of the Alpine Software Suite, Equipment, and Service offerings.
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing value-added selling techniques.
  • Strong skills in account management and project management.
  • Exemplary strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
  • Financial acumen to evaluate market opportunities and analyze financial outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain robust relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
