As a National Account Manager, your primary focus will be to drive revenue growth and expand Alpine's market presence through designated national accounts. This role involves crafting and implementing strategic initiatives tailored to each account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for managing relationships, ensuring client retention, and identifying organic growth opportunities within key accounts.
  • Establish and nurture strong business relationships with prominent accounts to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinate the involvement of various company departments, including software support, equipment sales, engineering services, and management resources, to fulfill account performance goals and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide a holistic business solution to Key Accounts that encompasses Alpine's full range of products and services.
  • Foster a consultative selling culture among decision-makers at all levels, presenting brand strengths, competitive gaps, and areas for improvement while building trust through respect and commitment.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities by conducting thorough customer business assessments. Lead the comprehensive solution efforts that align Alpine's offerings with customer needs and performance objectives.
  • Negotiate and secure new strategic accounts, ensuring a smooth transition to the appropriate sales team upon closing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in strategic sales with national and regional builders, architects, engineers, or lumber yards.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and enhancing sales through market penetration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Alpine's products and services; experience in the building industry is preferred.
  • Experience in selling complex technical products is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of the Alpine Software Suite, Equipment, and Service products.
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing value-added selling techniques.
  • Strong skills in account management and project management.
  • Exemplary strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
  • Financial acumen to evaluate market opportunities and analyze financial outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to various sites across North America.
