Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our financial documentation and ensure precision in all transactions. The successful candidate will be integral to the accounts receivable function, collaborating with various teams to enhance financial processes and maintain the integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Arnold's Office Furniture, your primary duties will include:

1. **Financial Documentation Management:** Maintain precise and current financial records for the organization, focusing on accounts receivable and general ledger entries.

2. **Invoice Processing:** Accurately generate and record customer invoices in a timely manner.

3. **Receivables Monitoring:** Track and follow up on outstanding invoices to guarantee prompt payments.

4. **Account Reconciliation:** Regularly reconcile accounts receivable and address any discrepancies swiftly.

5. **Bank Statement Reconciliation:** Assist in reconciling bank statements, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately documented.

6. **Billing and Invoicing:** Prepare and dispatch invoices to clients, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

7. **Financial Reporting:** Contribute to the preparation of financial reports that provide insights for management decision-making.

8. **Tax Compliance Support:** Aid in the preparation and submission of sales tax returns.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in accounting within small to medium-sized enterprises.

Demonstrated experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a comparable financial position.

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in the furniture or interior design sector is advantageous but not essential.

Education:

A degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant work experience will also be taken into account.
