Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event and Athlete Coordinator to join our team at AM Fitness Inc. As a key member of our events team, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, including meetings, shows, and social media events.
  • Communicate with athletes, promoters, vendors, and others to ensure all event details are managed.
  • Support athlete communication and event updates to ensure all logistical aspects are clear.
  • Help with event setup both online and at physical venues (decor, seating, equipment).
  • Monitor event timelines to ensure deadlines are met and anticipate any potential issues.
  • Provide on-site support during events, managing attendee registration, troubleshooting issues, and assisting athletes.
  • Oversee post-event tasks such as teardown, gathering feedback, and preparing reports for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Event Assistant or similar role (preferably in fitness industry related fields).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse audiences.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms for event promotion and coordination.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (degree in hospitality management, public relations, or related field is a plus but not mandatory).
