As a Sales Coordinator - Event Planner at ZMC Hotels, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings and events, overseeing the effective planning of functions and banquets, and maintaining effective communication with other departments in the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete a Meeting room report each week and confirmed sales report weekly.
- Be aware of local activities and trends.
- Handle incoming sales calls and respond promptly.
- Maintain an organized filing system and complete all sales paperwork.
- Communicate bookings and customer needs to all hotel departments.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the property and city.
- Be familiar with the hotel's reservation system.
- Understand and adhere to hotel and ZMC Hotels standards.
- Support the front desk as needed.
- Keep the sales office clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager.
- Assist the General Manager with marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the job.
- Treat all colleagues with dignity and respect.
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company, including financial information, customer data, and employee issues.
- Present a professional image at all times.
