Ecolab is in search of a Credit Specialist to deliver exceptional service and support to both corporate and non-corporate clients within Ecolab's Shared Service divisions. This role focuses on the collection of overdue invoices, addressing pricing concerns, reviewing orders, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving various credit-related disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform collections for corporate and non-corporate accounts through various channels including outbound calls, aging reports, invoice packets, order reviews, and email correspondence.
  • Handle incoming communications from aligned accounts, ensuring extensive interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain professional relationships while effectively collecting on overdue accounts receivable.
  • Investigate and resolve disputes and invoice discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide accurate information as required by customers, sales teams, and credit departments.
Position Overview:
  • This hybrid role is based at our designated campus.
  • The working hours for this position are standard business hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit, finance, accounting, customer service, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Experience in credit/collections and/or customer service related to large corporate clients.
  • No immigration sponsorship available.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Access, or the willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative and capacity to work independently.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and process.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
