Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • At least one year of experience in accounting and/or administrative roles
  • Capability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, foundational knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in documentation and resolution
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as a key team member under tight deadlines and in dynamic environments
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with external contacts
  • Demonstrates integrity and maintains confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel as required

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Accountant(s) with daily operations for project teams
  • Process vendor invoices and payment applications regularly
  • Assist in tracking subcontractor lien waivers as necessary
  • Gather required documentation for project billing and audits
  • Ensure timely processing of all project expenses
  • Facilitate the timely closure of completed projects
  • Assist in preparing necessary journal entries
  • Approach every interaction as a chance to add value and strengthen relationships

Physical Requirements:

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, dexterity for writing and computer use, clear hearing and speaking capabilities, and color vision. Occasional visits to construction sites may involve exposure to various conditions.
