Electromagnetic Compliance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Compliance Engineer with practical experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) assessments to become a part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the coordination of testing strategies between laboratory personnel and program teams.
  • Design and develop test apparatus for EMC evaluation activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of EMC testing in accordance with established military standards.
  • Interpret and analyze test results to verify adherence to design specifications.
  • Offer constructive feedback to the design team based on testing outcomes.
  • Establish program specifications in alignment with E3 standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in E3, EMI, or EMC testing.
  • Familiarity with military testing standards such as MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.
  • Understanding of electrical safety protocols and military EMC compliance regulations.
  • Experience with RTCA-DO-160 Sections 18-22.
  • Professional background in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing facility.
  • Proficient in TILETM equipment scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing instruments including spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, and network analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in E3 development.
  • Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
  • Experience in formulating EMI/EMC requirements and control strategies.
  • Strong foundation in electromagnetic principles and design support.
  • Capability to conduct quantitative E3 assessments.
