Your Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and technical support of our projects, from initial development through to construction. Your expertise will be essential in executing designs that meet our high standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis and design for new tank structures, as well as rehabilitation and retrofitting of existing tanks in the water and wastewater sectors.
- Assess project requirements, plans, specifications, and applicable building codes to ensure timely and accurate submissions, whether through design or quality control reviews.
- Provide recommendations for design improvements and cost reductions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with consultant engineers, suppliers, and construction teams to address engineering-related inquiries and challenges, prioritizing the interests of DN Tanks and our clients.
- Offer consistent communication and dependable support to field personnel regarding all engineering aspects of tank construction.
- Perform regular design compliance inspections at project sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required; a minor or emphasis in structural engineering is preferred.
- A Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is advantageous.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) is preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
- 3-7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the water/wastewater industry.
- Experience in supporting construction projects is a plus.
- A self-motivated and driven individual who can work independently while thriving in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Mathcad, FEA, and AutoCAD is essential.
