  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Criticality Analysis (CA).
  • Formulate reliability program enhancement strategies and execute reliability growth assessments. Participate in design evaluations and testing as necessary.
  • Create reliability block diagrams, forecasts, and analyses to fulfill program contractual obligations.
  • Engage in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
  • Detect trends in the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) to prioritize failure modes for investigation and corrective action to prevent future issues.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), assist in Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities.
  • Prepare for and contribute to Reliability Scoring Conferences and Failure Review Board meetings.
  • Suggest design or testing methodologies and statistical process control techniques to achieve required product reliability levels.
  • Compile and assess performance reports and process control metrics.
  • Ensure that corrective actions align with acceptable reliability standards.
  • The candidate will primarily work in a collaborative environment, providing insights to engineers, conducting analyses, and drafting reports. Some travel may be required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience in Reliability Engineering, including conducting reliability predictions and analyses.
  • Familiarity with reliability FRACAS and statistical data analysis.
  • Knowledge of the FMEA process.
  • Ability to oversee subcontractors in the Reliability domain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to cultivate effective working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and capability to deliver presentations to large audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with 9 years of relevant professional experience; or 7 years of experience with a related master’s degree. This is considered a career or journey level position.
Preferred Skills:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Strong electrical engineering background with solid mechanical comprehension.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve complex issues requiring creativity and innovation.
  • Knowledge of safety engineering principles.
Security Clearance Requirement: This role necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Remote Work Arrangement: This position allows for part-time remote work.

Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed options, providing employees with additional time away from the office alongside Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Role: 4x10 hour days with 3 days off per week.
