Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Criticality Analysis (CA).
  • Formulate reliability program enhancement strategies and perform reliability growth assessments. Participate in design evaluations and testing activities as necessary.
  • Create reliability block diagrams, forecasts, and analyses to fulfill program contractual obligations.
  • Engage in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
  • Identify trends in the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) to prioritize failure modes for investigation and corrective action implementation.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB), and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
  • Prepare for and contribute to Reliability Scoring Conferences and Failure Review Board meetings.
  • Recommend design or testing methodologies and statistical process control techniques to achieve required product reliability levels.
  • Compile and assess performance reports and process control data.
  • Ensure that corrective measures align with acceptable reliability standards.
  • Collaborate in a team-oriented environment, providing insights to engineers, conducting analyses, and preparing reports. Some travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience in Reliability Engineering, including reliability predictions and analyses.
  • Familiarity with reliability FRACAS and statistical data analysis.
  • Proficient in the FMEA process.
  • Capability to manage subcontractors within the Reliability domain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a knack for building effective working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with technical writing experience and the ability to present to large audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with 9 years of relevant professional experience; or 7 years of experience with a related master’s degree. This role is considered career or journey level.
Desired Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Strong electrical engineering background complemented by mechanical understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities requiring creativity and innovation.
  • Knowledge of safety engineering principles.
Security Clearance Statement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Work Environment: The selected candidate will have a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between remote work and a designated facility.
