Position Summary
As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive relationship with clients while optimizing sales within your designated territory. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to expand an established territory with a reputable industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your Manager to devise a strategic sales plan aimed at acquiring new clients and nurturing existing accounts.
- Effectively manage your territory, forecast sales, and cultivate strong business relationships.
- Engage in full-cycle prospecting activities, including lead qualification, cold calling, and delivering sales presentations.
- Work in conjunction with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams to achieve and surpass your objectives.
- Utilize various tools, resources, and CRM systems to efficiently plan and manage your time and territory.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A 4-year degree in sales, marketing, or engineering, or a 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluid Power Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of industrial sales experience is required, with preference for candidates with experience in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and/or mechanical components.
- Familiarity with the rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for both mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Willingness to travel overnight may be required.
