Commercial Banking Market Manager I

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Market Manager I to lead our commercial business development efforts within a specified market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth, building relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement market-based business plans that align with our overall objectives and goals.
- Lead credit and pricing efforts for a specified market, ensuring alignment with regional and corporate goals.
- Identify and develop prospects for loan and deposit opportunities, utilizing our systems and tools to drive success.
- Collaborate with teammates to optimize effectiveness and deliver superior customer experiences.
- Interview prospects and applicants, gathering essential information for loan applications and deposit generation.
- Work closely with the Credit and Commercial Administration Team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer experiences.
- Partner with Retail Banking leadership and Camden National Wealth Management personnel to deliver a relationship-driven approach to customer needs.
- Manage and update the Loan Pipeline Report, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
- Meet or exceed targeted production goals, including new loan production, new deposit production, and loan fee income.
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Formal credit analysis training or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to successfully communicate, interact, and build effective relationships.
- Ability to effectively communicate before groups of people, both within and outside the organization.
- Good project management skills, with a proven track record of leading or adding significantly to project teams.
- Direct reports will consist of up to two commercial banking officers within a market.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees, as well as planning, assigning, and directing work efforts.
