Resident Transition Specialist

Position Overview: This role is essential in supporting our occupancy objectives through meticulous planning of resident transitions, including move-ins, move-outs, and internal transfers. The Move-In Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that apartments are ready for new residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow and processes related to new resident move-in requirements.
- Assist incoming residents with all aspects of their transition to the community.
- Coordinate the refurbishment, cleaning, and inspection of units post move-out and pre move-in in collaboration with the Engineering and Housekeeping Directors.
- Communicate any special needs or requirements of incoming residents to the relevant departments.
- Support clinical staff with necessary documentation to finalize the admission process.
- Assist the marketing team with tours, inquiries, hosting events, and community outreach as directed.
- Compile reports as required and maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective residents and their families in the CRM.
- Create resident profiles in Point Click Care.
- Ensure that all managers schedule meet-and-greet sessions with new residents for their orientation in line with the Welcome Home Program.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty program and attend all mandatory training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Commit to maintaining a safe working environment by preventing accidents and preserving equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Proficient in English to effectively perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and relevant third parties.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Service-oriented individual with a strong hospitality focus.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Information Systems: Proficient in CRM systems and competent in Excel and Word.
