Position Summary:

The Move-In Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our occupancy objectives by efficiently managing the logistics of resident transitions, including move-ins, move-outs, and internal transfers. This position is responsible for ensuring that all necessary preparations are completed for new residents, reporting directly to the Community Relations Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for incoming residents, addressing all aspects of their move to the community.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Engineering and the Director of Housekeeping to ensure apartments are refurbished, cleaned, and inspected prior to new resident occupancy.
  • Communicate any special needs or requirements of incoming residents to relevant departments.
  • Assist clinical staff with the necessary documentation to finalize the admission process.
  • Support the marketing team by participating in tours, handling inquiries, hosting events, and engaging in community outreach as directed.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports as needed.
  • Document all interactions with prospective residents and their families in the CRM system.
  • Create resident records in Point Click Care.
  • Ensure that all management staff conduct meet-and-greet sessions with new residents as part of the Welcome Home Program.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions, in-service programs, and staff meetings.
  • Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and maintaining equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent; a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training.

Language Proficiency:
Must possess acceptable fluency in English to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong service orientation with a focus on hospitality.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in CRM systems and competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
