The Move-In Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new residents. This position is essential for achieving occupancy objectives by effectively managing the logistics of move-ins, move-outs, and in-house transfers. The Move-In Coordinator will report directly to the Community Relations Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide new residents through every aspect of their transition to our community.
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and the Director of Housekeeping to ensure units are refurbished, cleaned, and inspected prior to new resident move-ins.
- Relay any special requirements or needs of incoming residents to the relevant departments.
- Assist the clinical team with necessary documentation to facilitate the admission process.
- Support the marketing team by participating in tours, responding to inquiries, hosting events, and engaging in community outreach as directed.
- Help produce reports as needed.
- Document all interactions with prospective residents and their families in the CRM system.
- Create resident records in Point Click Care.
- Ensure that all managers schedule meet-and-greet sessions with new residents for their orientation in line with the Welcome Home Program.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty program.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions, in-service events, and staff meetings.
- Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and maintaining equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent, with a one-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred; or three to six months of related experience and/or training.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and other stakeholders.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong service orientation with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Excel and Word is necessary.
