Role Responsibilities:

The HR Assistant will provide essential clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager and General Manager, contributing to the overall efficiency of human resource operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing administrative tasks such as maintaining payroll and HRIS systems, drafting correspondence, and organizing departmental communications.
  • Facilitating internal and external communications, including memos and documentation.
  • Handling phone inquiries, screening calls, and directing messages appropriately.
  • Assisting in recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating orientation for new hires.
  • Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel for candidates.
  • Preparing and maintaining statistical reports related to recruitment and employee turnover.
  • Conducting exit interviews to gather insights on employee separations.
  • Supporting the administration of workers' compensation and unemployment processes.
  • Maintaining compliance with human resource audits and record-keeping as required by law.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate's degree preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience, along with strong computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets and databases.

Physical Demands:

This role requires interaction with colleagues and residents, along with various physical activities such as standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
