Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives that drive business results and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement people strategies that align with organizational outcomes and goals.
  • Provide coaching and consulting services to leaders on effective use of data and assessment methodologies to identify trends and behaviors that impact organizational outcomes.
  • Monitor associate engagement survey results and develop strategic responses to drive maximum impact.
  • Lead or participate in interdisciplinary teams to accomplish key organizational objectives, such as associate safety, workplace violence, and associate engagement.
  • Partner with site HR leadership to manage the site talent management process, including calibration sessions and succession planning activities.
  • Deliver coaching and development to leaders to enhance their skills and competencies.
  • Support leaders in executing organizational effectiveness interventions to drive operational efficiency and solve business issues.
  • Utilize team effectiveness methodology and interventions to support teams in forming, developing, and operating at optimal levels of performance.
  • Ensure that human resources policies and practices are applied with fairness and consistency and in accordance with Advocate Aurora Health's Mission, Values, and Philosophy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or associate relations experience, including successful team interventions and leader coaching.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in the business and take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs.
Working Conditions

This position requires travel and may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
