Position Overview:
As an Early Childhood Program Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging preschool classes for children aged 2 to 4 years. Your role will involve utilizing various activities, including science, art, literacy, and sensory play, to foster children's social, cognitive, and language development in a playful environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom atmosphere with age-appropriate group activities and games.
- Implement a diverse curriculum that includes science, weather, art, story-time, and circle-time.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience.

Work Schedule:
This program operates during the school year, with specific hours outlined for class sessions. Additional hours may be available for other preschool programs as needed.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience working with preschool or youth populations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- First aid/CPR certification is required by the start date.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check is mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public and handle both compliments and complaints effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment in responding to customer needs.
- Proficiency in standard computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment:
Work is conducted in an indoor setting with high noise levels. Physical activities may include walking, climbing, bending, and stooping.
