ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Project Management Associate Manager within the International Consumer Brands Home Cleaning division, you will play a pivotal role in the development of new products across our Furniture, Glass, Disinfection, and Fabric Care categories. Your expertise will guide the End-to-End project management process, ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams as part of the R&D group.

This position requires effective communication, the ability to identify process deviations, and the initiative to escalate issues as necessary to keep projects on track. Success in this role hinges on clear communication, defined success criteria, project scope, timelines, risk management strategies, and fostering strong partnerships with business and supply chain leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee product development through the new product introduction process, establishing timelines, key milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Business and Supply Chain partners to ensure a unified approach.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, translating technical information to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Design products that are not only appealing to consumers but also enhance SC Johnson's competitive edge in retail environments.
  • Provide technical leadership within a multi-disciplinary team to drive the creation of innovative products.
  • Offer technical support to resolve issues, maintain production schedules, and ensure product quality.
  • Stay abreast of industry innovations and trends to leverage new technologies in product and packaging development.
  • Commit to continuous improvement in both product and process.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in R&D or project management across various functional teams, or a Master's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time position with core office hours.
  • Flexibility for global calls and meetings.
  • Office-based role with remote work options available for eligible employees.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Eligible for domestic relocation.
