Position Overview:

As the Modern Endpoint Engineering Associate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and directing the technical strategy for our endpoint platform, with a primary focus on Apple devices. This position demands a forward-thinking approach to modernize our endpoint solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining a strong emphasis on security and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a leading authority in the deployment and innovation of modern endpoint solutions for SC Johnson’s application and infrastructure stakeholders, particularly concerning macOS devices. Establish and prioritize product features, requirements, and strategic roadmaps for macOS management.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and best practices to drive a progressive approach within the End User Computing domain at SC Johnson. Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of the Apple ecosystem, encompassing hardware, operating systems, applications, and security protocols.
  • Define service standards and performance metrics as the Service Owner for Managed Service Providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and acting as the final escalation point for technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to assess and recommend new IT security policies and technologies.
  • Develop and refine endpoint standards, policies, and procedures, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with software licensing.
  • Ensure adherence to SC Johnson’s infrastructure management processes, identifying and addressing procedural challenges as necessary.
  • Lead the resolution of technical disruptions by coordinating with various teams and vendors, providing on-call support as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A university degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 4 years of experience. A minimum of 4 years in Endpoint and Desktop Management, particularly with Apple/macOS devices.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Administration and configuration of Modern Endpoint Management solutions (JAMF & Microsoft Intune).
    • Experience with technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, and SCCM.
  • A strong grasp of Apple macOS, the Apple ecosystem, and enterprise-level macOS device management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Endpoint services in medium to large organizations.
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes.
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Certifications in Microsoft and/or JAMF are advantageous.

Job Requirements:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Remote work options are available once a week for eligible employees.
  • This role does not offer relocation assistance.
