Role Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational effectiveness by establishing partnerships within primary care practices. This position is dedicated to delivering impactful services to leadership and employees, aligning with the strategic goals of Catalyst Health Group. The HRBP is expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the regional operational framework, financial health, and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a professional representative of the organization, promoting its purpose, goals, and objectives while exemplifying high standards of conduct.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for HR services, establishing measurable objectives that align with organizational growth and performance metrics.
  • Engage as a collaborative leader in the design and execution of HR solutions, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational strategies.
  • Serve as a coach and advisor to regional practice leaders and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on the planning, development, and execution of significant policy and business initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and leading change management efforts.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
  • Work closely with leadership to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention rates.
  • Provide HR guidance and coaching to people leaders, ensuring alignment with core organizational values.
  • Build trust and foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
  • Strategize for organizational effectiveness and implement necessary operational and structural changes in partnership with business units.
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including needs assessments and succession planning, in accordance with the leadership competency framework.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts for key roles and offer guidance on recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitate performance management processes to support employee development and growth.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in collaboration with the People team to develop effective solutions and programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment-related legal requirements to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and their interpretation.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical healthcare settings is preferred, particularly in physician practices.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and strategic partnership capabilities.
  • Expertise in employee relations.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to drive change and lead initiatives effectively.
  • Champion of organizational culture and values.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 8 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a business partner capacity.
  • Expertise across multiple HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and learning and development.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials are preferred.
