Position Summary:
The People Partner role is essential in collaborating with leaders within the Customer Support division to navigate the complexities of a fast-paced, technology-oriented, and rapidly evolving organization.
This position involves providing comprehensive Human Resources support throughout the employee life cycle. The role requires a hands-on approach and active engagement.
As a People Partner, you will collaborate with the People Team on key HR initiatives and strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering support to both people leaders and employees.
- Champion the company culture by integrating our values and mission into daily operations.
- Guide and influence managers in building and maintaining high-performing teams.
- Provide business leaders with insights and recommendations based on assessments of performance trends, employee engagement, and turnover rates.
- Partner with leadership to deliver strategic guidance on talent management, employee engagement, and other critical HR initiatives.
- Offer day-to-day performance management support to line management, including coaching and career development.
- Collaborate with various People functions to design and implement programs that attract and retain a diverse workforce.
- Facilitate the understanding and application of HR policies and practices across the organization.
- Build trust and credibility with employees, addressing concerns with empathy and follow-through.
- Manage sensitive and confidential employee relations matters with discretion.
- Support team leads, including first-time managers, in becoming effective leaders.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive HR experience, particularly in customer service or call center environments.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field is required. Experience in a rapidly growing startup is highly valued.
Experience supporting hourly employee groups is essential.
A proven ability to build trust and credibility, acting as a reliable advisor to both employees and management.
Expertise in navigating complex employee relations issues, including ADA and leave management.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills, particularly with senior leadership.
Proven capability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Comprehensive knowledge of key HR functions, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive attitude with a focus on creative solutions in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.
