Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or a related field - 150 credit hours preferred
  • Aspiring to obtain CPA certification and pursue a career in public accounting
Technical Skills/Productivity
  • Capable of preparing basic individual tax returns
  • Recognizes the significance of accuracy and efficiency in tax return preparation and assigned tasks
  • Proficient in Fixed Asset Solutions, Advance Flow, and ACS
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving objectives
  • Competent in preparing various entity tax returns (1120S, 1040, 1065)
  • Has undertaken a tax research project
  • Identifies 1 to 2 areas of interest within the industry for tax specialization
  • Ability to lead team members and complete tasks with minimal oversight
  • Understanding of basic financial statements
  • Can reconcile trial balances with source documents
  • Ability to create depreciation schedules and understand depreciable lives and methods
  • Knowledge of required payroll tax return filings, including 941, 940, W-2, 1099s, and their purposes
  • Ability to reconcile payroll liabilities and prepare payroll tax filings
  • Can reconcile simple bank statements
  • Basic understanding of QuickBooks (importing, exporting, data entry, report preparation)

  • Aims to generate additional revenue for Yeo & Yeo and its affiliates through business development efforts
  • Maintains a Business Development Activity kit based on experience level
