Service Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at Tristate Equipment. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling Expertise: Manage customer appointments, assign technicians to jobs, and provide necessary details for successful service delivery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Source and order parts and equipment, track deliveries, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Communication Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors.
  • Organizational Skill: Maintain complete job files, handle shipping and receiving with precision, and ensure complete documentation for accurate billing.
Requirements:
  • Solid Manpower Scheduling Experience: Prior experience managing service schedules and technician assignments in an industrial setting is highly desired.
  • Computer and Systems Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong understanding of CRM, inventory, or ERP systems will be a distinct advantage.
  • Cloud-Based Collaboration: Navigate cloud-based storage solutions (like Google Drive) with ease, ensuring efficient folder and document creation, management, and accessibility.
  • Independent and Proactive: Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of processes, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and Multifaceted: Comfortable shifting gears between the office and shop settings, you will demonstrate a keen ability to handle diverse tasks and situations.
