Director of Business Development

About the Role

GEODIS is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our Drayage and Transload initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans and strategies
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the logistics and supply chain industry
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and revenue
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
