Position:

Insider Threat Analyst

KBR is in search of an Insider Threat Analyst with expertise in all-source analysis for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting non-technical analysis to support the Insider Threat mission. This role involves scrutinizing Insider Threat program data to discern patterns, best practices, and compliance challenges, as well as assessing metrics and quality assurance. A current TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Insider Threat Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing thorough all-source analysis to bolster the Insider Threat mission.
  • Generating comprehensive analytic products to support Insider Threat initiatives.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and assessing program data to gauge Insider Threat risks.
  • Organizing and extracting data to create metrics, reports, case studies, and trend analyses.
  • Delivering both written and oral presentations.
  • Conducting research to aid ongoing analytical projects.
  • Preparing and producing situational awareness and warning reports related to Insider Threats.
  • Assisting in the preparation and production of analytical reports aimed at enhancing production efficiency.
  • Providing editing and quality assurance for program outputs.
  • Reviewing Insider Threat information to meet program mission requirements and deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the following areas:
    • Conducting analysis in a mission context supporting Insider Threat at tactical and/or strategic levels.
    • Personnel Security, Threat Assessment/Management, or Counterintelligence related to Insider Threat missions.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and application of research and analytical techniques for complex assignments in security, law enforcement, and counterintelligence analysis.
    • Understanding of the principles, practices, and techniques associated with threat assessment and management, counterintelligence, and law enforcement, along with significant experience in collaboration and information sharing across Federal Government, Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Law Enforcement, and Security communities.
    • Proficiency in utilizing various research tools, including open-source and government/commercial databases for Insider Threat analysis.
    • Familiarity with the DoD population.
    • Experience providing support and expertise to a Government or Contractor Insider Threat program.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and collaboration capabilities, as evidenced by experience briefing senior officials.
    • Preferred knowledge and training in structured professional judgment tools such as WAVR-21.
    • Proven experience with Insider Threat risk assessments and effectively presenting findings to diverse audiences, including senior decision-makers.
    • Proficiency in using computers and software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience providing support and expertise to an Insider Threat program is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
