As an Information Security Analyst, you will collaborate with fellow cybersecurity experts to evaluate potential risks, comprehend relevant regulations, and create comprehensive mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities will include gathering technical, environmental, and personnel insights from subject matter experts (SMEs) to thoroughly assess the threat landscape.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in translating intricate security concepts into actionable plans for our clients, empowering them to make informed decisions to safeguard their critical systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in cloud security while actively contributing to the protection of our nation's cyber infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across various applications.
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux, including RHEL or Ubuntu.
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols and incident response methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, particularly AWS, and expertise in vulnerability management, including knowledge of CVEs and securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus and ACAS, along with an understanding of ATO and IATT package requirements.
  • Solid grasp of cybersecurity policy fundamentals, including NIST, and the ability to translate these policies into applicable frameworks such as ISO.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Capability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of employment commencement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with container security tools, such as Twistlock or NeuVector.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience in securing cloud infrastructure and applications within AWS GovCloud.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
