Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team at St. Joseph Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide safe and supportive care, promoting personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
  • Report any changes in patient condition or home situation to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
  • Current CNA certification in the State of Louisiana
  • Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in a direct care setting
  • CPR Certified
