We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide essential support to our patients and their families during their hospice journey.

About Us:
At Carpenter Health Network, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospice care, ensuring comfort and dignity for our patients in their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support the safe use of mobility aids as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and reporting any hazards.
  • Communicate any changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CNA certification in Louisiana is mandatory.
  • At least six months of experience in a direct care role.
  • CPR certification is required.
