Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Everence. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential members, promoting credit union products and services, and enhancing the business loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to grow the business loan portfolio and increase member engagement.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential members, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and professional service.
  3. Collaborate with management to develop and implement business development plans, ensuring alignment with credit union goals and objectives.
  4. Provide input to management on potential new products and trends in the industry, ensuring the credit union remains competitive and innovative.
  5. Participate in the Business Lending Committee, providing input and recommendations for lending decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of business lending experience, with a thorough understanding of business lending and deposit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
