Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC HMC Machine Operator to join our team at Polamer Precision, Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex CNC Vertical, Horizontal machining and multi-axis milling centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CNC Vertical, Horizontal machining and multi-axis milling centers
  • Setup and run machines for production, ensuring high-quality parts are produced
  • Inspect parts to drawings requirements, identifying and reporting any defects or issues
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and report needed repairs to maintenance team
  • Review setup sheets and specifications to determine setup procedures
  • Read and understand blueprints, applying advanced math knowledge to ensure accurate production
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in aerospace industry, operating and setting up CNC controllers
  • Familiarity with FANUC & OSP controls, machining technology, mechanical principles, and shop mathematics
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to read, write, and speak English
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of a CNC program preferred
Physical Qualifications:
  • Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. when required
  • Ability to stand for 7-8 hours, with sitting stool provided at seating location if needed
  • Ability to walk, reach, and use hands with arms, stretch, and twist
