Job Overview:

This position involves performing a range of tasks to assemble and evaluate valves within a designated work cell, adhering to product specifications and quality benchmarks. The goal is to meet production objectives while delivering high-quality products to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble valves under guidance within the assigned work cell.
  • Achieve productivity targets for the designated cells.
  • Follow established protocols to ensure proper setup and assembly of products.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on each product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare products for shipment.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures to complete tasks accurately and thoroughly; identify and rectify errors while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the cell team to meet or exceed production goals; manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Adhere to safety and organizational guidelines; maintain a tidy and orderly workspace while exercising sound safety practices.
  • Understand ISO protocols and be familiar with the location of necessary documentation.
  • Contribute ideas during team improvement discussions and High-Performance Team meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience: 0 - 3 months in a manufacturing or assembly setting is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Willingness to learn and maintain necessary skills to fulfill job responsibilities; open to new assignments and cross-training opportunities.
  • Capability to work proficiently in assigned cells.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Collaborate with team members to engage with support groups for problem resolution.
  • Actively participate in improvement initiatives, Lean and Kaizen projects, and team meetings.
  • Develop structured problem-solving abilities.
