Strategic Media Coordinator Position at Daviselen Advertising

The Strategic Media Coordinator role at Daviselen Advertising focuses on crafting and implementing comprehensive media strategies across both Digital and Traditional platforms. The Coordinator will assess local market insights for the General Consumer Market and Multicultural demographics within designated regions. This position will manage the daily media planning operations for Clients, collaborating closely with management and the planning team.

Reporting Structure

The Integrated Media Planner will report directly to the Integrated Media Strategy Director and Associate Director at Daviselen Advertising. This role provides opportunities for involvement in strategic discussions while handling daily planning responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing media objectives, strategies, and tactics
  • Conduct research and gather data for effective media planning
  • Develop target consumer profiles and track market trends
  • Evaluate communication objectives by media channel
  • Assess various media platforms for plan execution
  • Create planning documents such as flowcharts, budgets, and market analyses
  • Engage in planning media channels including TV, Radio, Display, and more

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in agency/media planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Media Ocean/Prisma, Media Tools is advantageous
  • Experience with planning tools like IMS, Simmons, Rentrak, and others
  • Previous exposure to project and task management
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent time-management skills
