Role Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Procurement Specialist to effectively plan, schedule, and oversee the flow of materials throughout the production process, ensuring timely procurement of necessary materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure materials in alignment with engineering and production schedules to sustain inventory at optimal levels, employing strategies such as Just in Time purchasing and Economic Order Quantities (EOQ).
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Establish and maintain bills of materials along with parts and commodities numbers within the supply chain management system.
  • Ensure compliance with material standards and manage non-conformances or variances effectively.
  • Develop specifications for new contract orders.
  • Solicit quotations, review bids, and make award decisions.
  • Monitor costs, schedules, and the scope of assigned subcontracts to guarantee the best quality at the most competitive value.
  • Assess vendor reliability and cultivate new supply sources when existing vendors are no longer viable.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement, particularly within the technology or gaming sectors.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in the technology or gaming industry, including management of bills of materials, inventory, discrepancies, and vendor negotiations.
  • Willingness to commit to a full-time, on-site work schedule.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including background, skills, experience, and work location. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177/yr - $156,700/yr, with actual pay potentially varying.
