Position: Senior Commissioning Specialist
Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for extensions

Compensation Rate: $75-85 per hour
Role Overview:
The Data Center Services (DCS) division is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the data center infrastructure. Currently, the team is managing two completed buildings and is initiating work on a third. The selected candidate will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the commissioning of all electrical and power distribution systems within the data center. Key responsibilities will include overseeing budgeting, timelines, and project scope to guarantee the data center's readiness during construction.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct factory witness testing and site acceptance inspections.
- Perform pre-functional and functional performance testing.
- Execute integrated systems testing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience with a strong technical foundation.
- At least 3 years of management experience leading large teams, including third-party commissioning agents.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar software tools.
- Willingness to work overtime and be present on-site.
- Proven leadership skills to manage external contractors, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and internal operational teams.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt commissioning schedules and resource allocations as necessary.
- Experience in large-scale data center environments or hyperscale data centers.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting compensation at $85 per hour, with variations based on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. Employees will also have access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, and are entitled to paid sick leave and other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
