Data Entry Clerk

Sterling Search Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to fill a key role in our organization. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating information into our database, ensuring data integrity, and providing administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter data into computer systems and databases from various sources with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify and review data for discrepancies or errors and make necessary corrections to maintain data quality.
  • Maintain and update records and files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform routine data backups and data entry tasks to ensure business continuity.
  • Generate and run reports as required by management to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with data analysis and other administrative tasks as needed to support business operations.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support to other departments regarding data issues and concerns.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for data management and security to protect sensitive information.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent typing skills with high accuracy, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience with database management systems and data entry best practices, with a strong understanding of data quality and integrity.
