Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Level 1

CAN Community Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Level 1 to join our team in Sarasota, FL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Medical Provider and Registered Nurse.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing basic nursing care to patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient quality of life. You will be responsible for performing patient triage, assessing vital signs, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a Medical Provider and Registered Nurse
  • Perform patient triage, including assessing vital signs and documenting patient information
  • Process medication refills and perform venipuncture as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • LPN/LVN graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of Florida
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (CBL) Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
