The Area Engineering Supervisor plays a crucial role in steering, mentoring, and assisting assigned teams while ensuring the financial viability of the designated office or program. This position encompasses overseeing teams to fulfill client requirements and delivering projects punctually and within budget constraints. As the principal leader, you will guarantee that all team members uphold fundamental values associated with culture, client alignment, schedule management, employee utilization, ethics, performance, and compliance. You will serve as the primary execution point for clients and project teams, offering leadership and alignment for successful project results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide a regional team in executing projects and programs for local clientele.
  • Manage existing client relationships, including supervising contracts, projects, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Foster and develop relationships with potential regional clients and contribute to the formulation of a Regional Strategy Plan and Business Development initiatives.
  • Effectively utilize local resources while coordinating with other company offices and resources.
  • Oversee and manage employee utilization by collaborating with other company leaders.
  • Work closely with Regional Leads, Directors, Vice Presidents, and Principals to leverage relationships and expertise across the organization.
  • Design and implement a training plan for regional employees.
  • Actively advocate for a robust safety culture within the organization.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive management regarding the overall health of projects.
  • Oversee the planning, development, issuance, and progress tracking of all assigned projects from contract execution through commercial operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the gas utilities sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.
  • Proven experience as the single point of contact responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, including financial accountability.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with natural gas and oil systems, process piping systems, compressor stations, pump stations, gas processing, filtration/separation, CNG, LNG, measurement and regulation, or high-voltage T&D and/or substation EPC project management is highly desirable.

  • Excellent follow-up, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prepare and coordinate engineering reports, calculations, studies, and presentations.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from internal resources and clients.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting communication styles of both technical and non-technical team members and clients.
