Job Summary

Affinity Dental Management is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Preparation: Ensure proper disinfection and sterilization of instruments, contributing to clinical efficiency and patient safety.
  • Exam and Surgery Area Preparation: Set up and clean exam or surgery areas, ensuring sanitary conditions and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Utilize medical disinfecting procedures to sterilize all necessary equipment and document the cleaning process.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor operatory supplies and maintain an adequate inventory to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate efficient patient care and maintain open communication channels.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA laws.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Certifications: Certified Dental Assistant or DANB Infection Control certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
