Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
- Handle front office responsibilities, including managing phone calls, checking correspondence, and communicating with patients and insurance providers.
- Utilize dental software for patient scheduling and record management.
- Coordinate and confirm appointments for various providers within the practice.
- Process patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verifying benefits and explaining coverage.
- Record insurance and patient payments and manage accounts receivable.
- Discuss treatment plan costs and payment options with patients.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to implement systems that enhance office efficiency.

- 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical office.
- 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with dental software systems.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Willingness to participate in periodic training sessions.
