Position Summary

The ideal candidate is a motivated, energetic individual who will consistently support the Housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests, attentively listen to their requests, and respond appropriately while providing accurate information.
  • Maintain and service guest accommodations, including but not limited to:
  • Changing bed linens and making beds
  • Cleaning and mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpets and rugs
  • Disposing of waste and ashtrays
  • Transporting soiled linens
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and surfaces
  • Restocking bathroom supplies
  • Ensuring mini bar standards are met
  • Reporting maintenance issues and technical concerns
  • Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at the end of the shift
  • Providing courteous and efficient service at all times
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills
  • Effective listening and comprehension skills to address concerns raised by guests.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, including anticipating and resolving issues as they arise.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role.
  • Previous hotel experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions.
  • Dependable with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Consistently maintains a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Regular attendance is required, adhering to the scheduling needs of the hotel.
  • Complies with safety and operational standards to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Upholds high standards of personal grooming and appearance.
The compensation for this role ranges from $28.40 to $37.87 per hour, subject to applicable increases.
